At Dunbar Area Christian Youth Project we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of the visitors to this web site. As an organisation, we want you to know that we are not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We don’t do that sort of thing.

Privacy Policy
This policy applies to information collected from our supporters, which is known as ‘personal data’ under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The security of your personal data is very important to DACYP. Any information you provide will be held securely and in accordance with the GDPR.
We collect personal data from those who receive our news updates by email or post; those who make donations; those who volunteer with us; those who attend events organised by us.
Information we are likely to hold includes name, email and/or postal address. For those who donate we hold their bank account details and gift aid eligibility.
We will not sell or share your details with third parties for the purpose of fundraising or marketing.
We will use the data given to us in the following ways:

To process donations, claim Gift Aid where applicable and keep appropriate records.

To inform supporters of news, events and the activities of DACYP.

To manage our teams of volunteers.
We retain personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was originally collected. If we no longer need your data we will delete it from our files.
Those whose personal data we process have the right to request a copy of information we hold about them, or to ask us to correct or erase that information, or to change the way in which we use it.
