DACYP work in the primary schools in a variety of ways.
Our work includes, but is not limited to:
Pastoral Care

Pastoral Work is mostly focussed on students in Primary 6 and 7.

Weekly check-in groups are peer-to-peer groups to assist children to talk about their feelings and raise their self worth.

One-to-one support is also available as needed.

Classroom Volunteers

Our volunteers attend school weekly and offer literacy, numeracy and practical support to classes and individuals.

We have more than a dozen volunteers working in this way, some in more than one class.
